Power Affirmations to use with Essential Oils

Have you ever tried saying affirmations?  I used to dismiss affirmations as a complete waste of time.  But did you know that your thoughts and words have incredible power?

It might sound crazy but whatever you say usually comes true.  For example, I used to say ‘I’m always ill’ or ‘We can’t afford it’ or ‘I’ll  never be happy’ or even just as silly as ‘I’m always breaking things’ and guess what.  Those were affirmations and they were always true in my life.

One of my friends suggested to me that I focus on my thoughts and words and try to become more positive.  But how do you become more positive?  By building affirmations into your daily routine, building habits of positive affirmations which will turn into your thoughts, which turn into your words which will affect the rest of your life.

So guess what?  I started saying affirmations such as ‘I am getting healthier each day’, ‘Every month my income increases’, ‘I am more and more content every day’, ‘I have a balanced life’ or even just as simple as ‘I make time for my friends’.   And believe it or not these things are now true in my life.  Yes I have bad days like everyone else, but on the whole my life is so much better than it was and it continues to get better every day.

So why not make a habit of combining affirmations with essential oils?

You already have a habit of applying essential oils on to your body at numerous times of the day (and if not, what are you waiting for, get started here!) so why not use that opportunity to combine the healing power of the oils with the power of your words.
